What Engineers Owe the Public and their Clients

The public and our clients have entrusted the profession with a faith and confidence that we will do the right things, for the right reasons, at the right times.  A key responsibility and  duty embedded in our agent-trust relationship is the ability to provide honest counsel.  As professional stewards, our clients and the public have expectations of the following:

"Tell me what you know.  Tell me what you don't know.  Tell me what you think."
